This is an issue that affects pretty much ALL businesses, so I would like to see a win for the dockworkers there. And I further agree that the difference in pay between the West Coast dockworkers and the East Coast dockworkers is pretty unfair.

Complaining about making "only" $39/hour? When so many of us are making so, so much less? Including people in other manufacturing jobs that are just as strenuous, just as dangerous. AND rejecting the 50% pay raise the bosses were offering because it wasn't enough? Sorry but that leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Where is the money for the pay increases coming from?
