You showed them what happened, you owned the mistake, and i'm sure you offered to call the customer and explain...
and you know, EVERYONE makes mistakes but they are freezing you out? I would also start looking for a new job because that's just WRONG.
they can be upset and "disappointed" but they should NOT be able to be outright rude.
Giving someone the finger is a fire-able offense at my company...making a mistake is NOT.
