and a colleague thought I got her in trouble. I didn't intend to, but should have been more mindful of what I did that so upset her. I owned it 100% and apologized and promised I wouldn't do it again. And I won't.

So, she was pissed for a day, but by the next Tuesday she was all hugging me again.

Yup- that finger ish would get you at the very least on a correction plan here. We tend to give ppl 2-3 chances, but you would be instantly written up for that behavior.
