with my aunt. For a while now, we've talked about going in together and buying a compound bow
We ultimately wound up getting a "youth" bow at Walmart last Friday for around $25. It came with two arrows...my aunt promptly lost one. She took the bow home (it was on her credit card) and couldn't wait to shoot it, so she took it outside to her back yard and--we think--buried an arrow all the way up to the fletching in the ground. So of course she immediately went out and bought a few more arrows and then had her daughter-in-law order her even more with her Amazon Prime account. We have two different local parks that have archery ranges you can use for free; last Sunday, we went to the one at Punderson and today we're going to Hidden Lake. It's kind of adorable how much my 73 year old aunt is taking joy from shooting a bow and arrow. I enjoy the sport but she's positively obsessing over it.
