I commend your husband and son for making sure you're safe. I've been able to shoot a gun since I was in my early teens, though I don't enjoy doing so as much as Dad does (it's fine, just not my thing). Dad also taught me a few self-defense moves that I hope to never have to use. My plan, should I ever (God forbid) be attacked, is to scream, kick, bite and scratch if I can't run away.
