I'm tired of the hand wringing. It's too late to make a change unless "the Almighty" removes him. The Democrats, imo, should focus on making people feel more comfortable with a very capable VP.

In theory, any president could die in office a minute after taking the oath of office. Would we be comfortable with the VP choice? Think about a McCain Administration with a VP Palin. (Calm down, it didn't happen. Her choice as VP was the main reason I didn't even consider voting for my senator.) I think VP Harris should be out and about, seen as getting things done and walking through the transition talk about major projects (Here's where we are. There's where we want to be. This is how we'll get there. And this is why it's a good thing for the country.) When I was on active duty, I used to tell my guys (my subordinates, mainly NCOs): Short answer, long explanation. Long answer, short explanation. I told them that would help them make the same decisions I would have made if I'd been there so I could defend them.

The DNC needs to send VP Harris out more. She needs to make voters understand that the plans continue and she can make them happen. Democrats (and Independents) tend to vote based on policies. Republicans are caught in a cult of personality...when they're not just being cruel for the fun of it. I want the policies implemented. They want their leader to be in charge forever.
