Hillary B. Smith (ex-Nora) isn’t the only fashion inventor around here. Check Melissa Archer (ex-Natalie) out with her new Bag Buddy on Quirky. It’s a patent-pending “waterproof, disposable, bag protector to keep grime from bathroom, stadium, restaurant … floors off bags.” The Bag Buddy goes under any kind of bag — purse, backpack, briefcase, pet carrier, carry-on in several available sizes — to protect it from sticky, disgusting floors in places where there aren’t any hooks to hang it on. There’s an elastic band across the top to hold the Bag Buddy in place. When done, simply throw it out.
Melissa Archer (ex-Natalie) is also proud of her work as Lauren Buccellato on the new Joe Basile movie, West End. Archer said it’s at the Jersey Shore and contains a Sopranos mob vibe, but it’s not a mob movie. “I don’t quite know how to describe it, but [the director] words it as ‘Hamlet Of The Jersey Shore,’” Archer said. “It’s suspenseful and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. It’s violent in some parts, but I was actually very happy when I watched it.” –Soap Opera Digest
