There watering or feeding, we just pick out any weeds we see.

Also helps that we hired someone to mow, trim, and spray weeds on the bricked back patio area, which is a PITA to pick weeds from.

When we last owned a home, the weeding took up so much time but I enjoy it. Very zen and focused time.
