Although most of the cherry blossoms were gone, we did find a tree with some blooms still on it.
We wanted to go to the top of the Washington Monument but couldn't get tickets. Maybe another time and we'll plan for it in advance. Evidently that is key.
that's good to know. My trips into DC are usually relatively spontaneous when visiting my sister - we rarely plan it in advance.
We did so much walking but we knew that going in.
