caramelized onions, sautéed peppers and pepperoni. The plain pizza from my neighborhood guy is very good (dough/sauce/cheese). I cannot make that as good as him. But I can do the toppings. Maybe I’ll start getting more creative with the toppings.

I think we are all trying to find ways to cut costs but still have good things. For example, my sis and I made a big pot of homemade beef stew during the snowstorm. A nice sirloin tip beef roast was $5.99 lb while “beef cubes for stew” (cut up by the butcher) was $9.99 lb. Which do you think we used? 😉 If you have a good knife, it’s not difficult to cube up a roast. Plus you know exactly what cut of meat you got if you start with a whole roast. The package of meat cut up for you could just be a bunch of odds and ends from various cuts of beef. Who knows? It doesn’t say.
