BUT they are offering to do several repairs.
They want $580K. That's only $75 a month more from the $570 offering we put in yesterday.
Why are we OK with this?
1. Appraisal will likely bring this down.
2. They are offering to do some of the repairs. I sent a whole list to our realtor MN, and hopefully they agree to at least the priorities.
3. When interest rates lower (soon), because we are VA, we will be able to quickly change the loan contract to the lower rate without all the crap you have to go through with a Refi.
I keep running and rerunning the numbers. I can still save money at this level. I just need to - and will - cut down on frivolous spending.
I hope we work something out. This home is great for us and I am excited!
