I liked Mags but I think her death worked well for this show. Transplants, both organ and refugee, are never easy. Too many medical dramas treat organ transplants like automatic happily ever afters. Mags’ story was more realistic. Her funeral and various characters’ reactions to her death seemed realistic too. She took a huge risk and it didn’t work out. Hopefully, Bash’s transplant to a new life in a new country will work out much better. It was good to see Jed again.
One more episode left. I’ve enjoyed this show.
