I've mentioned here a couple times that I essentially "hate-watched" the last few seasons of The Connors. There were still moments I liked and still characters I was rooting for but overall, Darlene and Jackie both worked my last nerve and the family constantly made stupid decisions. I also hated how they ret-conned David into an absent father and completely wrote out DJ, his wife, and his daughter Mary towards the end (and never mentioned Jerry beyond a single line of dialogue in the first episode of the first reboot and either completely ignored Andy's existence or else decided Jackie never had a child).
The finale was...pretty much the same. I hated Jackie rejoining the police force as a beat cop (desk sergeant, maybe). I hated Harris' out of nowhere boyfriend being at the house the morning of the deposition. I thought it was a little unrealistic how Mark (who was my favorite character throughout the reboot) got himself a 6 figure job after being a hacker at the beginning of the season. I didn't agree with Becky preferring to spend her newfound "wealth" on a tricked out truck rather than a new house. And while I was glad Darlene didn't go out on a date with Oz...I mean Chad...she still annoyed me, just in general <g>. I also thought the big make-up with her and Ben (who I always thought was too good for Darlene) was a little too sudden.
I did like how the big settlement check turned out to be only $700. That was both typical Connor luck and appropriately indicative of how little big Pharma cares about people dying from overdosing on prescription drugs. John Goodman did a great job (as always) during the deposition, and I loved how Louise felt (properly) demeaned after constantly hearing that Roseanne was "the love of Dan's life" (though I thought she got over it a little too quickly at the end). And the graveyard scene was touching.
But I'm glad the show is over and honestly, I won't miss the characters much...or at all.
