It felt like "Ripped From The Worst FanFic Ideas".
Yes. It makes no in-universe sense except the fact that they share a name. Truthfully, as mad as I am about the BuckTommy breakup, this was the thing that made me wonder whether I should continue watching. Given the fact that Tommy is gone, it was just for basically a laugh.
Again, it baffles me. If not long term then why set up to be so perfect?
The last episode was one of my favorite couple episodes of this show. Caring, understanding and humor. Perfect.
I think RG is a big obstacle to it ever happening, alongside how ABC is not going to be like "Sure, put your only 2 single male characters together".
Yep. Especially in this new environment, we're in. I can't help but think corporations might pull back on the LGBTQ content.
At this point why even bother investing in any personal storylines for Buck (or Eddie either for that matter). Their love interests barely last so why should fans care anymore? I loved the idea of letting Buck have a long term relationship. Now I'm just not even bothering to care who they toss at him.
Exactly. And I'm getting a weird feeling about Oliver Stark. I think he did a great job with the story but I also think he might have wanted a different story related to his character's sexuality. So do I not only have to worry about the whims of the writers but the actors too?
