I picked up words from friends I havenāt seen in decades that I still routinely use, particularly, words a friend who died when he was 36, used. For example, my bed is my pad and sleep is nonny. I wonder if still using his words is a tiny way of keeping a piece of him with us.
I think we all develop our own unique language that we form within relationships. Itās actually very interesting how we do this. I know I do it a lot. Above are just a few examples.
