My daughter locked the dogs inside and let them in/opened the double wide gate while I was at mass and running errands. Yesterday had been an Azure Standard delivery, but I couldn't make it. I was at mass. The drop coordinator, a lady I'd worked with while I was a govvie, picked up my stuff and I picked it up at her place. Three boxes, but one was a box of jars, so it came already packaged.

A few more errands and I got home around 11:00. Usually I open the gate at 8:00, but there wasn't anyone there, so I let the dogs run free in the backyard, which they like to do.

Anyway, the gate was open and one of company trucks was parked on the street. One truck was in the yard with a huge trailer that was being filled with all the debris from the work on the remodel. The windows are installed! They slide left to right instead of up and down. It'll be fine. The screens are rather...flimsy. I'm planning to replace them with some security screens, the kind you can beat with a metal baseball bat and still not get through. Great progress. (Just sent an inquiry to the company that did the rest of the screens in my house.)

Meeting with my plumber this afternoon at 3:00. He'll look at the work the other guy did and say it's okay or make recommendations. The estimate is free, but if it has to be redone, I'll be out of pocket for it. I knew that I should have told the other plumber to wait until I got my guys to look at the area. Lesson learned. Go with your gut...the first time.

I forgot to return the slabette while I was out and about. I'll race out in a few and drop it off.

More updates to follow.
