i have enough of that 'omg, i'm so happy it started and omg, this is going to be supremely overwhelming' still left in me that we delayed the plaster repair and repainting of the main rooms. i just cannot do it, yet!

here's hoping the dogs get used to the side door AND your friend can fix the dryer.
