in our area called Betty's Bomb-A** Burgers...I've never eaten at it but I've always wanted to try it!
I admit though, as someone whose legal name is already a nickname/shortened version of another name, Betty will get tired of telling people "No, that IS my full name". When I was in elementary school, I hated my first name because there are so many derogatory words it rhymes with: picky, sicky, icky, sticky....you get it. Later, I grew to like my name but I still wish my folks had named me Victoria and then called me Vicky, just because "Victoria" would look nicer on official documents. And most people spell it correctly; early on, almost everyone spelled "Vicky" with an "i" at the end. Surprisingly, it's about half and half now; half the folks spell my name "correctly", with a "y" at the end, and the other half are split between "Vicki", "Vikki" and "Vykki" (I rarely get "Vickie" even though there's a brand of potato chips called "Miss Vickie's").
