Robb and Catlyn thinking too much with their hearts and not enough with their heads is also a big part of why I loved them. I don’t think Catlyn was as naive as Robb. But she saw and accepted that there was no stopping her son from marrying the woman he loved. And there were big consequences for choosing love in the world they live in. I lost a few characters I love in the Red Wedding episode. Luckily though, my list of characters I love continues to grow. I’m glad nobody warned me about the Red Wedding. I gasped, screamed and exclaimed out loud! But thinking about it afterward, the writing leading up to it was very fair. The writers did warn me. I just continued to hope.
My heart broke for the poor direwolf tho. He can't help that he landed with the dumb Stark. :( Also terrible for Arya to have witnessed that.
I love those direwolves. And I adore Arya. So much to bear for such a young girl. Sansa is only 14, so how old can Arya be?
I read the books so watching the show, seeing fans get very attached to Robb was interesting. I never wanted to spoil anyone but also felt like warning them to buckle up, it was gonna be a bumpy ride.
I’m very attached to Jon Snow and Ygritte. But now I’m buckled up.
