Italian peppers and mozzarella cheese? Sounds yummy to me. Sure the sausage has different spices than traditional breakfast sausage. But I don’t see why Italian sweet sausage can’t be used for a perfectly yummy breakfast. Even if you want to make it into a patty and put it on an egg sandwich, why not? Chorizo is used as breakfast sausage in Mexico.
