She was fantastic, in my humble opinion. Also recently I rewatched another Alexander Payne movie: About Schmidt. Kathy Bates' role in this is one of the most memorable things I've ever seen. LOL
Past Lives: two kids in South Korea are best friends/first loves before her family immigrates to Canada when she's twelve. The movie talks about fate and a connection between two people that may transcend lifetimes. I thought it was lovely. And the German-South Korean actor Teo Yoo who played the male lead is kind of hot. LOL
Harold and Maude. I finally watched this cult classic from 1971. I enjoyed it. I really liked how quirky it was.
Saltburn: two students at Oxford (one rich, one poor) form a friendship and they go to the family estate of the wealthy student for the summer. It's kind of Talented Mr. Ripley-esque and stars Jacob Elordi, Barry Keoghan, Rosamund Pike, Carey Mulligan and Richard E Grant. I though Barry Keoghan was absolutely terrific in this.
