Glad it went so well for you.
We traveling from Galveston, TX back to Burbank, CA on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I booked a cruise for our anniversary 2-1/2 years ago, not realizing that this particular Sunday as the end of one of the biggest traveling weekends of the year.
I had been dreading it for weeks.
And then - it couldn't have gone better.
The drive to Houston (Hobby) was perfect, the airport wasn't crazy, only a very slight delay in our flight. Landed in Burbank got our bags quickly and jumped in an Uber and traffic wasn't any busier than normal.
I've probably used up all my great travel mojo for the year.
