late this morning. ON had a flash sale on pajama pants: $5 but you had to get there before noon. At Michael's, I was looking for only two things and came home with three
bags of stuff thanks to many items being on sale 50-70%. I spent almost $100 (and all for ME) but it would've been over $200 if not for the sales and for a lovely, lovely woman who let me take a screenshot of her coupon for 30% off all regular items. It was only good for today and while she had a cart full of things, not one of them wasn't on sale.
Anyways, while I was standing in a long line (BF shopping in stores seemed to be doing pretty good this morning), there was a mom behind me with her young daughter, who if I had to guess, I'd say she was maybe 10 or so. She kept asking to get this thing and that thing and finally, her mom said, exasperatedly, "You want everything!" To which the daughter, slightly offended, replied "I'm EXPENSIVE! You signed up for this when you birthed me!".
I was dying. I noticed the couple in front of me were also stifling laughs. Now I'm looking for someone to whom I can say with righteous indignation "I'm expensive!".
