But personally, regardless of what the writers say, it's not a comparison I'd make if I were trying to describe the show to someone who has seen one but not the other.
I watched about ten minutes (if I even made it that far) of the pilot of Our Flags Mean Death and turned it off...*hides* I feel I'm the only one who doesn't like it lol.
I doubt you're the only one who doesn't like it but I do know you're not the only one who didn't like it immediately. It was a show that grew on people as it developed. The people who became obsessed probably only did so as the season wore on.
