Is anyone else making a conscious effort
not to support the economy today as part of the general strike?
I sent a chat and filled a form to cancel a pesticide treatment scheduled for tomorrow. I just found out that the ants that had invaded my daughter's room had left. (We think they found some of the previous bait the exterminators left and they helped themselves to it.)
My church office was open, so I dropped by to pick up some paperwork, but they weren't participating in the general strike.
I have about a quarter tank of gas and don't plan to get more today or shop today. Of course, I greatly feel the urge since I'm trying not to buy anything.
