I know that plenty of people voted for Trump because they want what Trump is promising to do. And, yes, they think those things will be done to “others”, not to them or to people they care about.
But the people who voted for Trump because they want the prices of food and gas and housing to go back to what it was in 2016 on day one? Those people are going to be very disappointed and quickly disillusioned. But it is too late. The damage is done. And many are going to suffer badly before we can turn things around.
