I likely would have had time after work to vote (I'll get off at 3pm), but it's also possible I might get a late call and not be able to get there in time. Plus I have a 5pm physical therapy appointment, so if I left work late and then had that, it would take me to 6pmish and while the polls are open until 8, I didn't want to have to worry.
I usually vote on the day as well, and I like to take Jack with me so he can see democracy in action and understand how important voting is.
Mr. Kris voted early too, just so he could sleep in today, lol. County is closed and schools are closed - so of course Jack was up before 6:30 🙄
