Dad and I have been debating this. We have a long-standing tradition of voting in person together and then going out for a meal either before or after we vote. I treasure our tradition and after stories have shown up on my phone about mail carriers throwing away mail-in ballots and people setting ballot boxes on fire, I now worry about those who don't vote in person not getting their say.

Now I'm absolutely, 1000% NOT saying it's somehow "wrong" to vote early or not vote in person. It's sometimes the only option; there are people who live overseas who want to vote, there are people who have mobility issues or transportation issues who can't get to the voting places on Election Tuesday, there are people who work that entire day, etc. I'm honestly just curious. If you have already voted, why?
