YR: Victor, Jack, Neil, Dru, and Phyllis
OLTL: Tina, Gabrielle, Viki, Max, Karen
AMC: Erica, Adam, Tad, Dixie, Opal, Jesse, Angie.
GH: Tracy, Edward, Carly (SJB), Brenda.
TG and GF did something special with their dialogue via their acting. It was the epitome of lighting in a bottle.

Again, most of those characters were introduced in the 70's or 80's when soaps were at their height. That has to be part of the conversation. The writing was fresher and not as recycled and way more eyeballs were watching.....which dictates a lot of what is deemed influential.
To me gh these days I think of Sonny, Ava, Carly, Anna, Jason, Tracy and a couple other vets. Are any of them the least bit influential these days? I would say no. I dont even like all those characters. Maybe Ava, but in what real tangible way? Meh
Like i said, with each passing decade the writing gets watered down and stories have less and less impact, actors have less and less influence on anything. I suppose it depends on what one deems influential in this landscape.
