Ingo would no longer be on GH. His air time was dwindling and there was no upcoming storyline he fit into. Being Joss's father was the only real connection to the show he had any more.
The show got rid of Finn, Valentin and Sam. All more central to the show than Jax.
Jason, Carly and Sonny are the center around which GH revolves. His departure totally threw away the direction many storylines were headed. Even before Covid it was clear Jax could be lifted out of the show and not leave a ripple.
This isn't about his politics. This is about SUING the network!
