His best scenes were with James, and as a servant in Tracy's household. I understand they brought him on to be Mac's son just as John J. York had to take medical leave. But they pretty much kept him in limbo and then when Mac returned and he became a Scorpio it was only good for a couple of episodes.
The character is so poorly defined I feel bad for the actor. He's a gambler, then becomes somewhat interesting working for Tracy and connecting with Sasha, then that rug gets pulled out from under him and he's back to being a stupid gambler and whiney child.
The character is so poorly defined I feel bad for the actor. I don't know any any actor on the show who could have thrived if only given the scenes and snippets of storylines leading nowhere that Cody has been given.
