One Life to Live Update for Friday, 24-Mar-2006

Here is what happen Friday in Llandview
Todd continues to be on the loose. He knows that Blair and Spencer are together and steals a tow truck to get to the cabin. What should he see as he looks in the window but Blair and Spencer making love. A devastated Todd takes off his wedding ring and leaves it on the window ledge.
Evangeline knows where Todd is headed and knows that Spencer is with Blair. She is determined to keep Todd from doing something really stupid but Bo has her under police surveillance. She asks sister Layla to not ask questions but to just help her when the time is right. She has Rex and Adriana stage a fight in the palace bar which distracts the cop assigned to Evangeline so that she and Layla can make a quick get away in Layla's car. The cop knows Rex staged the fight so that Evangeline could slip away. He takes Rex down to the police station so he can explain the whole thing to Bo. Rex is not rattled.
Layla and Evangeline stop just short of the police road block and Evangeline tells her that she has to go it alone-Layla –gives her tennis shoes since sis can’t go hiking around a mountain –in high heels and a huge flash light-(sis won’t ask what she is doing with that). Evangeline is still convinced more than ever that Todd is innocent and is more determined than ever to stand by him and not abandon him to all the rest of Llandview who believe he is a baby killer. Evangeline finds Todd and they take refuge in a deserted cabin. Todd admits that he just wanted to murder someone-but he didn’t. Evangeline insists that he stay put. She reminds him to do it for the sake of his children.
Spencer finds the wedding ring and gives it to Bo- Blair is horrified that Todd was right out side the window and SAW them –she feels lucky that he didn’t come in a kill them both. Starr is told that he father was outside the cabin-she asks why he didn’t come in and directly asks Blair if he saw something that upset him. How did the girl get to be so smart for only thirteen? Bo places guards outside the cabin in case Todd returns.
Viki is insistent that they must watch the Tess tape found at the abandoned house. Bo and Clint try to talk her out of it –but nothing doing she has to watch the tape. The tape shows five year old Jess being sexually molested. Clint and Viki are devastated. Bo takes the rest of the tapes to the crime lab to see if there is any evidence that can be used to find the man who molested Jess.
Nash and Tess plan to return to Llandview for the birth of the baby. They have no clue that the tape has been found and the deep deep dark secret is known. The vineyard didn’t sell because of Tess’ call to the Realtor to stop the sale. Nash still feels getting rid of the vineyard is for the best. They discuss baby names-Tess wants to call the little darling Grape if it is a girl.
