The folks in Llandview prepare for Valentines Day!

Michael McBain plans on asking Marci to marry him-he makes an attempt at the park –but poor Marci is cold and has to go tinkle-so they go to the diner-

David sees the love birds in Angel Square-and discusses the whole problem with love and marriage with Roxie – who tells him just because his love life sucks not to throw a wet blanket on the two love birds who are meant to be. David asks why Roxie isn’t spending Valentines Day with her true love, Nigel. She informs David that Nigel is too busy taking care of any whim Asa might have. Michael –frustrated by the fact that he can’t seem to get the BIG question out-asks David for advice. David tells the young lover to really re think what he is doing. He assures Michael that right moment is going to come – but hey kid the marriage thing aint what it is cracked up to be.

At the Diner, Michael tries over an ice cream Sunday but Marci almost eats the ring and Michael is forced to dump the Sunday all over her. He explains his rather odd behavior as an effort to keep Marci from eating a peanut - since she is allergic. He hopes that he has better luck at Capricorn –it is hard to imagine his luck being any worse!

Bro John’s Valentines date looks to be Todd Manning-John has to prove to IA and Bo that he is under control by escorting Todd to prison without incident. He is insulted at being handed a job that any rookie could do but a guy has to do what a guy has to do-in order to be reinstated. Natalie is thrilled that he will be getting his job back but doesn’t like the idea that he will have to be with Todd and tries, unsuccessfully to talk John out of the assignment.

Blair is still freaked out –that Todd has been sentenced to death and that she slept with Spencer. She tries to convince herself that the one night stand with Spencer will not happen again. She can’t get Todd off her mind. She is distraught that her effort to get Todd to appeal - for the sake of his children is unsuccessful.

Paige can’t get Todd off her mind and can’t see how she can let an innocent man be put to death. Bo doesn’t know what is going on but knows something is happening. She is distressed over the fact that Todd has refused his appeal and sets up a meeting with him a Statesville. She tells him that he has been set up-Todd wants to know who-but Paige can’t tell him. Of course being a bright sort of guy Todd realizes that Spencer must have been the master mind behind the murder of Margaret. He still has no proof. Todd wants to call his attorney –and is rethinking his choice not to appeal but –no one will listen.
