One Life to Live Update for Friday, 3-Feb-2006

Important turning points for many of the good folks in Llandview.
Nicki tries to convince Tess to return with her to Llandview and pretend to be Jessica and Vicki in order to clean out bank accounts and blow that town for good. Nicki has done a number on Tess and has convinced Tess that Nash has fallen in love with Jessica. It didn't help that Nash answered a cell phone call from Tess assuming that it was Jessica and was a little friendlier that Tess felt he should be. Furious that Nicki may just be right she hangs up. Clint and Antonio are fearful that if Tess has lost hope/interest in Nash she might not come back home. Nash denies to Antonio that he has fallen for Jessica. The police have found Vicki's car and assume that Jess/Tess Vicki/Nicki are held up in one of the vacation cabins. Tess starts to buy into Nicki's plan - but - Nicki wants to know the "big secret that Tess is holding. Tess is insistent that Nicki knows what happened at the bar- many moons ago - but Nicki claims not to have a clue. Tess is not sure she wants to turn that kind of power over to Nicki - after all Tess knows Nicki would sell her out in a second if it suited her or to save her own skin. Hey the girl's mama didn't raise a fool!! Could the big secret finally start unfolding??
Natalie, after a heart to heart with Clint - makes a decision- she calls someone and says she has been thinking and needs to meet with them-will it be Christian-who seems to be getting pretty cozy with his ace attorney - or will it be John who just got suspended from the force for shooting the junkie at St. James. Wait until Monday!
Todd returns to court to be sentenced. On his big day, Todd feels abandoned by sister Vicki who is no where to be seen. Blair struggles with whether or not to go - but with Spencer by her side feels she can get through the hearing. Dorian - and Just about the everyone else in Llandview-continue to warn Blair to be very careful where Spencer is concerned. Spencer gets a mysterious cell phone call and has to leave - promising that he will be back as soon as possible. Hugh puts crazy Mags sister on the stand, who pleads for the jury to give Todd the death penalty. No one spoke on Todd's behalf, but Todd made a brief but to the point statement to the Jury "I'm innocent." The verdict is returned-and Todd is sentenced to death.
Meanwhile Spencer pays a house call to none other than YES crazy Mags. Now how can this be. Margaret greets him with the news "its time" meaning she is in labor and about to deliver the baby. Wasn't there a positive DNA identification? Oh Spencer you have been busy-and what lengths did you go to so that Todd was out of the picture.
