One Life to Live Update for Friday, 7-Oct-2005

Cristian reveals to Evangeline that the dude who kidnapped and brainwashed him into murdering Tico and Antonio is right in the jail cell next to him. It's Carlo Hesser. She asks if Carlo knows he's onto him. He tells her it's certain that he is. She tells him it's odd that he hasn't tried to take Cristian out, knowing that. He explains to her that he can see that Hesser enjoys torturing people by talking. He's revealed to Cristian, everything that reveals who he is. Evangeline goes to find John to tell him what she found out from Cristian. Natalie overhears their conversation and asks what they are talking about.

ANtonio, Layla and Jamie go on a flight to California to see Jessica. But Jamie reveals she barely remembers Jessica. ANd Layla still wonders why Antonio would want to get back with a woman who willfully abandoned him and Jamie and makes it very clear she does not want to be in their lives. But he tells her it's not that simple, although he does not know exactly what to tell her about Jessica.

In california, that Bruce dude (the corrupt lawyer who tried to drug Tess at the party at the Hamptons when she first met Nash) comes to see Nash. He reveals that Nash has some skeletons in his closet about a previous relationship with a woman named Claudia Reston whose family was forced to institutionalize her because of Nash and served him with a restraining order. And Bruce also has extensive information about Jessica Buchanan.

Unknown to Nash, Tess is pregnant but still does not know if he is the father and realizes it could be Antonio. She goes to the clinic and knows she only has one option. She reveals that children are helpless victims, adults do terrible things to them, aNd she does not want to be responsible for that. But the nurse practicianer urges her to think about 5 or 10 years into the future and how she will feel then about the "choice" she wants to make now. Tess realizes she might not even EXIST in another 5 or 10 years. ANd she cries. WHen she gets home, Nash can tell that she has some major issues on her mind.

Blair tells Todd she knows he's "hiding" something. They run into Viki an Blair attempts to find out from her, realizing that Todd tells his sister his deep dark secrets. But Viki tells Blair she cannot betray her brother's confidence (specifically that Margaret is pregnant by him) and assures Blair that Todd will tell her in time. And still, nobody but Todd knows that that Margaret's dead body is floating in the lake.

Right then, Margaret's dead body is floating in Llantano Lake. A fishman is standing in the water right nearby and almost spots her.
