One Life to Live Update for Monday, 19-Sep-2005

Adriana and Duke catch Dorian, red-handed, going through the computer to find out the secrets about Buchanan CANO which she hacked Spencer’s computer in order to find. She tries to get them to believe that she’s on the computer writing her wedding invitations. Adriana tells her mother that she wants her to admit the truth. Duke then gets a call and goes outside. Dorian tells her daughter that she just called her a liar in front of Duke. Adriana tells her that Duke has the right to know what she’s up to because it affects him and his family. Dorian tells her that Duke also might want to know that Adriana kissed Rex.

Rex is going to ask questions about Margaret Cochran. He goes to a boxing place and runs into that Jackie McNaughton who is working for Todd. Jackie tells Rex he needs to back off and know that Todd is going to handle it. And he informs him that Margaret did the one thing that nobody can ever get away with doing. She went after his family. He advises Rex to destroy the picture of Margaret and forget he ever heard about her. He tells him that if Margaret winds up dead, the first person the cops will go after is the last one they remember hearing ask about her. Rex asks if McNaughton believes that Todd will kill Margaret. He says it’s likely to happen since she has come after his family more than once.

Spencer goes to see David at Craze. David tells his brother he wants him to get out and leave him alone. Spencer tells David that he’s concerned about Margaret endangering Starr at the Craze office. David tells him he does not buy that he cares about Starr. He just wants to get in her mommy’s pants.

Starr reveals that she cannot sleep and needs to tell her mommy something. She remembers Todd telling her she must promise him that she will not tell her mom “something”. When Blair talks about the joys of motherhood and how all children are a gift from God, Starr asks her what if Margaret had a baby with daddy. She asks her mother would believe that that baby would deserve to be loved.

Margaret and Todd go out to a boat. He gets her to throw her gun in the water and he “acts nice” to her. They get in the boat and he rows the ores. She tells him about the baby and he tells her he does not knot that he is his child. He does tell her that she signed her own death warrant when she went after his daughter. She tells him he must care about his own son, with her. He admits that he would want to protect that child, especially if she is its mother. She tells him if he hurts her, he will be hurting the baby. And for the first time, he actually gets to scare her. He refuses to move the boat and then makes it shake. And she cannot swim. She screams for help. At the end, we see him swim to safety and manage to pull himself up on a pier. But there's also an empty boat without the psycho bitch. What do you think happened to her?
