One Life to Live Update for Friday, 16-Sep-2005

Everybody is wondering where Todd is. And wouldn’t you know that he’s got a “secret” meeting with Margaret where she motivates him with her threats. And that woman, pregnant and sick in the head though she is, has enough strength to subdue him, distract him by some hikers and make him drop his gun and do whatever she says. He cannot be that helpless, can he? And is she invisible and impossible for the cops to catch or for anybody to kill in self-defense? But the psycho bitch pulls a gun on the dude in a public place where she does not get caught. ANd she tells him she needs them to steal a boat and go off to an island where he cannot escape.

Natalie is wondering if John is ashamed to have all of their co-workers at the station knowing that they are having a thing. He tells her he can prove that he's proud to be with her and lets everybody know that he and Natalie are together.

The priest comes to see Cristian in the slammer. Cristian reveals that the DNA test proved that he is the real Cristian. Finding that out for the first time, the priest asks him why in the world he hasn’t told anybody especially Natalie. And he asks why he’s suddenly telling him that now. Did something happen. Cristian reveals that the reason is that the only other person who knows his secret is now involved with Natalie. And he doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do about it. The priest reminds Cristian that Natalie is still married to him in the eyes of God. And if she’s found somebody else, that’s called adultery. And he encourages Cristian to get out of there on appeal because he was brainwashed into committing murder. He tells Cristian that God will forgive him for murdering Tico Santi. He needs to forgive himself and let everybody know that he is Cristian Vega.

Adriana finds out that Dorian has some secret information about the Buchanan account and tells her that she will inform Duke what she’s up to. Dorian tells her daughter if she does that, she will tell Duke that Adriana kissed Rex Balsom the other night.

After Kevin has informed Kelly that Margaret is pregnant with Todd’s baby, she tells him that she is really worried what kind of a life that child is going to have. She reflects that regardless of the sick circumstances of its conception, the baby is a part of Todd and Starr and Jack. And she believes they should inform Blair. But he says no. Kelly seems to be implying that she’d like for her and Kevin to adopt the baby.

Spencer hears Blair defending Todd to Dorian when her aunt tells her she has good reason not to trust Todd with secrets involving Margaret. And Dorian asks Spencer right then and there what really happened when Todd alleged he stabbed himself while changing his tire and Spencer treated him. And without having to be told, Dorian knows it’s very obvious that Margaret stabbed Todd. Spencer still knows he must keep his mouth shut remembering Todd threatened to take away his medical license for violating doctor/confidentiality laws and confirming what Dorian already seems to know. And Dorian seems to know that Spencer is lying for Todd. And she inquires why he’d give Paige Miller the position of chief of staff instead of her. Kelly comes by to “attempt” to tell Blair Todd’s big secret. When she hears that Blair has not heard about “the baby” she knows she better not tell her about Margaret being pregnant by Todd. So, what she tells her instead is that Spencer might be able to her have one with new fertility drugs he’s testing. WHen she sees Blair happy, she just doesn't want to dampen her spirits.
