Marcie is in the Diner writing on her laptop some “secrets” about a guy who really annoys her but whom she finds herself interested in. Right then, it looks like her “subject” appears. Hugh comes behind her wanting to read her material and she shuts her laptop, knowing that she cannot share with him. He tells her he’s curious to find out what she’s up to since she told him not long ago that she would never write again. She reminds him that he doesn’t want anybody going through his legal “briefs”. So maybe her work is private also. He says yes but his work is boring and tedious. Her work is fun and creative. She doesn’t know what to tell him. He reads her “depiction” of this guy, appearing to have no clue whom she is talking about. And he tells her that this guy sounds like a total jackass. But when he reads the specifics about how this guy helps one out after they puke all over his shoes, Marcie is “busted”. He asks her if she really sees him as the “jackass” and shallow and notices that he dates shallow air-headed models every night. He asks if she thinks he’s that terrible. She tries to explain that she does not think he’s terrible. They both seem to enjoy their embarrassing moment. But they notice that Michael and Spencer are looking over their shoulders and not looking happy.

Todd gets a call from Margaret, in his home, right when his family is standing all around him. She threatens to kill them if he does not do what she wants. He remains silent not knowing what to say. Dorian asks if that is Margaret. Then Starr asks the same question. He cannot answer. Then he hangs up and tells them it was a telemarketer. But they can tell by his expression that he’s lying. He takes the phone where he cannot be overheard and tells her he needs to see her. She tells him she needs to see him also and asks him to bring Jack. Starr tells them that daddy has a secret he’s not telling anybody involving Margaret and she’s already to tell them. But before she can get it out, Todd comes into the room and she hesitates.

Antonio and Layla are getting his apartment cleaned, organized and ready for Jamie’s visit and the impending court hearing and evaluation from family services. Right then, RJ and Lindsay come by with Jamie. She runs to hug her daddy. Then she goes to greet Layla who picks her up and kisses her just like she’s a “mommy figure”. Hearing and seeing that, RJ demands to know what the hell is going on. Lindsay asks who that girl is and what she is doing in his home. He explains that Layla is his girlfriend. RJ tells Antonio that he knows his girlfriend is Jessica Buchanan. He does not buy this and believes that very possibly his lawyer advised him to look like he has a “black” or “African American” girlfriend, in order to level the playing field. Is Evangeline asking her sister to “scam” the courts for her client? Lindsay tells him she knows he’s pulling off a scam. This is all a game. And she will not allow him to play games with “her child”. Hearing that, he asks her to repeat what she just said and tells her that she cannot “push” Jamie into seeing her as her mother. Lindsay tells him she does not need to “push” Jamie into anything. He warns her that the court might very well rule in his favor and let him have sole custody of Jamie. So maybe she should not become so attached to Jamie when she might not be able to see her again. RJ reminds Antonio that he abandoned Jamie. They did not. Lindsay also tells him that they are a legitimate couple and legitimate parenting figures for Jamie and they know that Antonio does not have that to offer his daughter. Antonio reminds them that this is his time with his daughter and the two of them need to leave him alone. Layla reminds them that Jamie has gone off to her room to be with her dolls because they are making her uncomfortable with their yelling. Right then, the social worker enters and asks where the child is. Antonio tells her she may go and see Jamie. Noticing that RJ and Lindsay are not leaving, the social worker tells them she needs to be alone with Mr. Vega, his child and his “partner”. And they pull it off pretty good.

When Lindsay and RJ go off alone to Rodi’s, she seems a lot more outraged by what she’s just seen than he is. She tells him she does not buy for one minute that Antonio broke up with Jessica and now has a relationship with this African American “woman”. Isn’t it just too convenient that this suddenly happens right before the custody hearing? What’s more, Layla is barely legal and is by no means “mommy” material. But he tells her that maybe they should not assume that they are lying nor worry about that. As long as their lawyer fights for them, they needn’t get so upset.

Starr reveals to her mother and Dorian that something might be “her fault”. They don’t seem to know what she is talking about. Right then, she reveals to them that her dad is not telling them everything. Margaret tells Todd that Starr knows what happens to her when she gets fresh with her. Her baby needs a big brother and that’s where Jack comes in. But Starr does not fit in. SO she’s going to die with Blair. He then agrees to meet her as long as he leaves Jack out of it. He tells her he will leave Starr and Blair for good and swears on the lives of his children. He tells them he needs to go somewhere but obviously doesn’t tell them where. He lies about not bringing a gun. He's got one. And so does Margaret.
