One Life to Live Update for Tuesday, 13-Sep-2005

Rex goes to the Palace Hotel and asks the bartender if he’s seen this woman and shows him a picture of Margaret. Marcie comes in and tells him that convicted felons usually don’t frequent the Palace Hotel and asks what his interest is in Margaret Cochran. He tells her it’s official police business. Marcie laughs and asks him why he’d have any “personal interest” in Margaret He tells her he owes Bo a favor. She tells him that psycho killers often write. Marcie also looks through some things and notices A.C. written on a napkin and concludes that Rex might be interested in Adriana Cramer. It sounds like those two (Marice and Rex) might have UNCONSCIOUS interest in each other. Why else would they give each other the time of day and be so interested in each other’s business? She tells him that she knows that Adriana is another guy’s girlfriend. And she also encourages him to believe that he can find love again after Jen. Just like she found Michael after Al.

Layla comes by Antonio’s home, telling him that she must move back in and have her name on the mailbox. She reminds him that they must convince the courts that they have a stable relationship and stable home for Jamie. He asks her why she’s doing this. In specific, what is in it for her. She tells him this will be a big “acting” opportunity for her. But he tells her this is not a play. This is real life. He admits that he is still in love with Jessica. But he realizes they must “play the part” if he wants to get Jamie back. It’s clear to see, however, that he’s still got Jessica on the brain.

Tess and Nash are planning their future together when that guy who drugged her at the Hampton’s comes by to visit. She reminds him that this is the guy who tried to rape her. He asks her to go outside while he talks to Bruce privately. They reveal they had a “plan” and Bruce tells Nash he owes him money after he “delivered” for him.

Dorian is going through the computer to spy on Spencer. Adriana comes home and her mother can tell she is upset about something. Knowing that Dorian will gloat at the thought of her daughter having problems with Duke, she hesitates to tell her that Duke really pissed her off the other night. She confesses that she kissed Rex Balsom. Shouldn’t Dorian be HAPPY that Adriana might be interested in ANYBODY who AIN’T a BUCHANAN. But she gets very upset that her daughter was with Rex Balsom who planted a gun in her office. Adriana is able to discover that her mother is spying upon somebody on her computer.

Paige tells Spencer that she almost let him ruin her “opportunity” to be chief of staff. But Bo encouraged her to be happy and be the best chief of staff the hospital has ever had. She’s not going to let his sick agenda ruin her life. Bo and Matthew give her enough positive energy and encouragement in her life and she’s ready to move in with them. He tells her that would be a very bad mistake. He reminds her that she would not want the commissioner to know about many of her secrets.

Blair tells Bo that somebody must find Margaret. She almost killed Starr. Bo tells her they are looking for her but Todd must back off or else he could get charged with murder. He then reminds her about Todd’s lie in regard to the stab wound. She tells him she doesn’t want to talk about that and is concerned about her daughter. Bo tells her it’s a little more than “coincidental” that Todd got stabbed and that Starr’s body guard got mysteriously whacked over the head.

Starr asks her father if what Margaret said is true. Is she having his baby. He tells her that he’d do anything to protect her and her mom and Jack. She replies anything except answer her question. He tells her that Margaret threatened to kill Blair when he was stuck in the cabin with her. She then cries and gets really upset, telling him that she cannot bear the thought of that sick woman having her half brother or sister. He holds her and tells her she can forget about Margaret and realize that she and Jack are the only kids he has or intends to have. He is able to convince her that he is not the father of Margaret’s baby but he urges her not to every tell her mom that Margaret is pregnant. She asks him why. He tells her that he needs her to keep the secret because if word gets out the Margaret is pregnant, Blair, and others might feel sorry for her. Blair then comes in and realizes that Starr did not tell her very much about what happened when she ran into Margaret at Craze. Starr does not know what to tell her mother. Michael comes in to examine Starr alone while Todd and Blair wait outside. Bo tells Todd he knows he’s up to something and demands that Todd tells him everything he knows about Margaret. Todd admits to Bo that he’d like Margaret dead but wouldn’t be stupid enough to kill her himself. Right then, Bo gets a call from Rex that he talked to somebody who saw Todd Manning with a dude named Jackie something involving an “extermination” process. Bo asks him what he knows about Jackie. And wouldn’t you know that Spencer just happens to find out from Michael that Starr Manning was attacked by Margaret Cochran. Dorian comes by the hospital and asks Bo if he’s doing anything to protect her niece and her children. Bo says nothing and walks away. While in Starr’s room while she’s sleeping, Spencer thinks to himself silently, that he will “have” Blair. Dorian notices him through the window. Right then Todd sends a text message to Margaret that she must contact him or else “T.J” is dead.
