Dr. Jameson (I think? That’s Jessica’s shrink? Right?) seems to be interested in Evangeline. She tells him that she would like to have a “confidential” discussion about if he remembers a man coming to town about a year ago claiming to be Christian Vega. She tells him that she specifically remembered that John told her that the DNA test proved that he was not Christian Vega. But all along, John has been hiding this report in his closet to confirm that he is not Christian Vega. Dr. Jameson asks her if she is still “holding on” for John. She tells him that she’s accepted that John is with Natalie. But she wonders what would have happened if Natalie had known that Christian was really alive and that dude was not an imposter.
Right then, Cristian writes Natalie a letter from his jail cell, telling her he is still alive. But right after he signs it, he remembers when they took him away believing he was an imposter, where Natalie screamed: “I wish you were dead”. And he then crumples up the letter.
