One Life to Live Update for Thursday, 8-Sep-2005

Dorian seems to want to find out more about Spencer.

Spencer gets a call. He then goes outside his hotel room to find a newspaper with headlines that Buchanan CANO is in trouble. And he gloats, knowing that he got what he set out to accomplish.

Asa is very upset about what’s happened and blames Kelly. Kevin asks his grandfather if he plans on ruining any chances he has with Kelly. Kevin tells Asa that he messed up enough and left him and Duke to clean up his mess. He knows that Asa arranged for Carlo Hesser to attempt to kill Blair and they kept her locked up in the insane asylum. And he also knows that Asa has kept Margaret Cochran in his home and has been working out a deal with her. Asa tells Kevin he should think twice about stabbing his own flesh and blood in the back. Kevin gets on the phone. Asa asks Kevin what he’s going to do if Blair goes to prison for committing perjury. It won’t help Kevin’s reconciliation with Kelly, Asa reminds him. Kevin reveals to Asa that Margaret raped Todd. Right then Blairs comes and demands that Kevin tells her what he knows about Todd and Margaret. Asa tells Kevin that they have a problem on their hands. They cannot yet get their hands on the CANO papers. But right then, Duke enters and hands them to him. Asa is happy. He then calls for a celebration with himself, Bo, Duke and Matthew and toasts all the Buchanan men and their success. Spencer then gets a call that really disappoints him, informing him that the Buchanan CANO merger went through.

Kelly goes to meet Blair and the kids at the palace restaurant. She asks if Todd is coming. He appears and Blair asks the kids to hang with Kelly while she talks to Todd alone. Todd is asking his contact how he’s coming along on the “extermination” project and how he can prevent it from being traced back to him. Blair comes out and tells him she knows he’s plotting the murder of Margaret Cochran.

Paige goes to the hospital and discovers that there is a sign on the door to her office that says Paige Miller Chief of Staff. And she seems to know that Spencer is doing that in order to blackmail and threaten her.

Rex is at Capricorn and notices that Duke is very busy and is disappointing Adriana for not having any time for her. He tells her that she won’t have any fun sitting there alone and she kisses him. He asks her what was up with that. He kisses her and Ginger sees them. He doesn’t seem interested in her but when Adriana wants to go home, he insists she lets him take her instead of her calling a cab.

Right then, Margaret walks in through the back door of Craze Magazine Delivery. She sneaks into Blair’s office. She gets on Blair’s computer and tells her baby that this will be one “invitation” Blair will not be able to turn down. And she takes out her gun.

Blair tells Kevin that she knows that he knows that Margaret is back in town. He tells her he knows nothing about the Margaret situation. But she tells him that she knows that Todd has some secret plan to get revenge that he is not telling her. It scares her and she wishes Kevin would tell her what he knows. Kevin tells her he cannot help her.

Starr also knows that her daddy is up to something and wishes he’d tell her. Starr then gets a text message, which she believes is from Ginger to meet her at Craze. Todd tells his daughter that she can’t just go there if she feels like it. She protests that he mustn’t be suspicious of Ginger. And Todd tells her it’s ok for her to go. She goes to the office with the guard and persuades him to wait outside. Little does she know that Margaret is right outside ready to mess with the fuse box. Starr is alone in the room as it goes dark.
