One Life to Live Update for Tuesday, 6-Sep-2005

Todd meets with a contact that he’s met through Viki. The guy asks him what he needs him to do. Todd gives him a picture of Margaret and tells him he wants this woman found and eliminated.

Oh, we learn one secret. Ginger, Tess’s “friend” who’s gotten to know Antonio, Adriana, Rex, and MOST IMPORTANTLY TODD and BLAIR, seems to have a connection to MARGARET. She seems to know that Margaret has been staying at Asa Buchanan’s home. But Margaret informs her that she’s ready to move in on Todd.

Natalie walks into Capricorn in order to find Antonio to ask him what he wants done with Christian’s paintings. And she notices LAYLA, whom she’s met on less than cordial terms, hugging Antonio. She right away assumes that Antonio is cheating on Jessica with Layla. Remember, Natalie knows nothing about Tess or that fact that Jessica AND Tess have split town on Antonio more than once and is nowhere to be found and he’s in terrible danger of losing Jamie without Jessica in his life. And drastic measures have to be taken.

Dorian meets with David and Spencer. She tells them that she is waiting for her matron of honor, Viki. But David informs her that Viki is in England, which she didn’t even seem to know. He knows that she had no intention of inviting Viki to this party. Her whole intent was to create a soiree with Spencer.

Right when “Tess” is in the new place with Nash after they’d made plans, she turns back into Jessica, who has NEVER SEEN THIS GUY IN HER LIFE and NEEDS to get back to Antonio. He asks her WHO the frig ANTONIO is. Right then, Tess comes back and she defeats Jessica and lets Nash know that she is there for him without Jessica’s interference.

After Natalie tells Layla that Antonio is Jessica’s man, Layla reminds her that nobody can find Jessica. Do you see her anywhere around? Antonio tells her she needs to cool it and not say things like that to Natalie. Layla reminds him that they need to “play this right”. RJ and Lindsay are ready to ruin his chances of having his daughter, are appearing to be perfect parents, Jessica is not there for him. And he needs her help. Right then, Natalie comes by and asks Antonio what is going on in regard to his relationship with Jessica and what she’s just seen in regard to him and Layla when he can privately tell her the truth.

John goes to Christian’s jail cell and tells him that he doesn’t plan on preventing Natalie from getting back with him. Christian is still firm on his old plan, to never tell Natalie his secret.

Ginger tells Margaret that she cannot help her spy on the Mannings anymore. Margaret reminds her (and reveals to viewers for the first time) that she helped Ginger get her job with the Mannings. Margaret tells Ginger that she must remember all the terrible things that Blair and Todd have done to her. But Ginger seems to know better and knows that Margaret wants to kill them and wipe her off the face of the earth.

Todd tells his contact that this woman is a nut job, almost crushed his wife in a meat grinder, and tried to kill his children. The guy tells him he has ways of making “accidents happen”. Todd informs him that Margaret has a “medical condition”. The guy says he can work around that and agrees that he can help Todd eliminate Margaret.

Dorian tells David and Spencer that whatever secrets they may have are theirs’ to keep. She no longer needs to know their family secrets. She just wants to move on and talks to Spencer about the specials on the menu.

Christian tells John that he doesn’t want to reveal that he is alive to Natalie. He just wants her to stay safe. But John informs Christian that there is something else he needs to know about Natalie. She is involved with somebody else. Hearing that, Christian seems to buy that and tells John that he always thought that Natalie would find somebody and he is ok with that. He also tells John he need not know anything about who it is. But right then, John admits that he is the one whom Natalie is involved with.

Knowing the “role” he has to play, Antonio reminds Natalie that Jessica has cut out on him more than once and she’s been gone for a long time. He also reminds Natalie that she has not seen or heard from Jessica either. Did Jessica contact her or be there for her after she got rescued from the pit when she almost died? He informs her that he does not know where Jessica is now and nobody else does. Natalie protests that Antonio first messed around with Sonya and is not replacing Jessica with Layla, really fast. And she asks him how he can do that to Jessica. He replies that he believes she is seeing somebody else.

Nash asks “Tess” why she had a nightmare and even seemed to consciously think and perceive her dead sister’s boyfriend, Antonio, when she saw him. She tries to explain it but doesn’t really sound credible. He reminds her that she never told him the reason why her “sister” committed suicide, as she’d previously told him was the case with Jessica. She replies it was because of something that happened when they were kids.

After Natalie hears Antonio say that Jessica has found somebody else, she tells him she does not believe that. But he “plays his role” telling her that he’s sorry she had to find out about it like this. He asks her about John. She admits that it may be true that she and John are moving to the next level.

Christian tells John that the thought of him and Natalie makes him sick. But he tells John that he ultimately wants Natalie happy. But if John ever hurts her, he will find a way to tear this place up, brick by brick, find John and kill him. He then demands that the guard gets John out of his cell and throws a chair in anger.

Margaret tells Ginger that she is very naďve to believe those things the Mannings might have told her about her. Ginger reminds Margaret that it was all over the news. Margaret reminds Ginger that the news is controlled by people like Todd and his sister and she reminds Ginger that she cannot deny that this baby is real. Wouldn’t anybody assume that if the woman is PREGNANT, it PROBABLY WASN’T because she RAPED a MAN! But GINGER seems to KNOW that TODD would NEVER SLEEP with Margaret because he’s in love with Blair. She informs Margaret that she is moving in with Todd and Blair in order to be a live-in caretaker for the children and she refuses to spy upon them or hurt them for Margaret. Hearing that, Margaret tells Ginger she will have to hurt her instead.

Dorian finds out when she gets a call from her daughter, Cassie, that Blair and the children are going to stay with her. And they’ve arrived with a ton of armed guards. She goes and finds Todd and asks him why this would happen so suddenly. She reminds him that Margaret has been on the loose for a long time. Remembering his little “conversation” with Todd concerning Margaret, yet again, Spencer tells Todd that’s a good question. And he asks him more about this Margaret woman.

Margaret pulls a gun on Ginger and startles her. Margaret proves that it’s not loaded and apologizes for losing her temper but reminds Ginger that she just asked her for one simple thing and she could not even do that. Ginger tells Margaret that she must turn herself in. Margaret informs her that if she did that, she’d also have to implicate Ginger for keeping tabs on Blair and Todd for her. And she’d be charged as an accessory. But again, Ginger tells Margaret that she is begging her to realize that she has a baby to think about. Why doesn’t she just forget about the Mannings and live with some peace.

Spencer tells Todd that Margaret is his business if she threatens his sister-in-law’s family. Todd tells him that will not happen because he will kill her. Spencer then gets a call.

Nash asks Tess the big SECERT about her and her sister when they were kids. She then remembers Jessica asking her and playing games with her in refusing to tell her. And she decides not to tell him either. She then tells him that Jessica just couldn’t “handle it”.

After hearing the cold reality about Jessica and after knowing she’s revealed to Antonio that she is DONE with his “deceased” brother and ready to move on with John, Natalie apologizes to Antonio for going off on him for being DONE with her sister and reminds him that the reason she came by was because Lindsay Rappaport found a buyer for Christian’s paintings and thought he should stop by and be a part of that. He does however hate having to lie to Natalie. He concludes, however, that he will do whatever he has to do in order to get Jamie back, including lying to the people he loves. BUT, I wonder, WHEN Jessica COMES BACK to him, is he going to LIE to HER , tell her he’s DUMPED HER BUTT since she CAN no longer help him get Jamie back?
