One Life to Live Update for Friday, 7-Jul-2000

Renee pays a visit to Max. Max tells Renee that Asa is lost without her. Renee wants to know if Asa tells all the people he hurts how much he loves them. Renee tells Max that she has seen Ben and wants to know what kind of bargain Max has made with Ben. Max tells Renee there is no bargain and asks if Ben is going to rat him out to Asa. Tearfully Renee reminisces about her conversation with Ben where he tells her he doesn't want to do anything that would cause her anymore pain. Max tells Renee he loves her and vows to get her and Blair back home so that they can all be a family again.

Max tells Renee that he kicked out Skye. Renee encourages Max to go after the woman he truly loves, Blair. Renee tells Max that he may not be blood, but he may be all she has and that she loves him. She does warn him though that her real son has the most special place in her heart.

Ben relays to Vicki his conversation with Renee. He is devastated that Renee asked him to help her find her son, and is sorrowful that he could not tell her the truth. He feels awful for Renee because now not only is Max betraying her, but he is too. Ben wants his mother in his life but he keeps running into the same brick wall that stops it -- Asa.

Nora and Colin talk about Bo. Nora gives Colin some unwanted wisdom -- if he thinks thta he will be able to trade her for Laney with Bo --- it will not work. Bo has moved on and does not want her back -- he has someone else. Colin tells Nora that Bo had an affair with his wife Laney. Nora at first does not believe Colin, but then she remembers a conversation between Bo and herself. Nora won't help Colin get the goods on Bo, but Colin thinks she already has.

Bo and Laney talk at the hospital while Lindsey is eavesdropping outside the room. Bo tells Laney that he has feelings for her and wants to explore those feelings. They both don't want to hurt Lindsey but Bo assures Laney that he told Lindsey that it is over. Lindsey can't take anymore and leaves in a tizzy. As she is walking past a medical cart she shoves it over. Laney and Bo get up to investigate but Lindsey is out of sight. Laney and Bo make plans to meet later as a furious Lindsey watches.

Skye drops over to tell Blair that she left Max. Blair dances around excitedly with the knowledge that Max finally kicked Skye out. Skye informs her that she is out of his house, but not out of their lives. She also tells Blair that she is too stupid to hold onto Max.

Kelly tells Blair to go home, but Blair has other "plans." She is not letting go of her plan, and plans to make Max beg her to come home. Blair trusted Max with her love and he made a fool of her. Max comes over and begs Blair to come home. A tearful Blair tells Max that she is scared to be hurt again, but finally agrees to try again. Kelly is thrilled with their reconciliation until she realizes that for Blair it was all an act. Kelly has other worries on her mind ... baby, Joey and Kevin.

Lindsey goes to see Laney and tells her she wants to have a heart-to-heart talk. Lindsey starts off by building Laney up as this great person with such high moral standards, and then lowers the boom about her being a hypocrite. She accuses her of sleeping with Bo to get back at her for sleeping with Colin.

Vicki tells Ben she is not a cancer patient anymore and she is going to go on with her life. Ben hugs her and tells her how great she is. Ben vows to Vicki that she is his family.

Skye goes to Ben to cry on his shoulder over Max. Ben tells Skye how stupid she is and she walks out.

Vicki is riding in her limousine to the community center when she notices the driver forgot to make his turn. The driver stops the limo and a started Vicki asks the driver ... Who are you?
