            "'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS"
               As told by Monica Quartermaine

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the penthouse
Not a creature was stirring, not even Marco, that louse.

Lucy's stockings were flung on the floor without care
in hopes that Scott soon would be there;

Ned and Jenny were nestled all snug in their bed
while visions of Julia and Paul danced in their heads;

And Alan in his boxers and I in my negligee
had just started bickering in our usual way

When out on the lawn there rose such a clatter,
I ran to the window to see what was the matter.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear
but a full length limo and eight well-dressed reindeer

with a tall handsome driver; so lively and racey,
I knew in a moment, it must be that alien Casey!

More rapid than Bobbie's tears they came
And he whistled and shouted and called the kids by name:

"Now Robin! Now Dom! Now Brenda, you vixen!
On Jason! On A.J.! On Jagger! Start mixin!

To Meg, Stacey, and Amy, to the doctors all
Now get some romances going before next fall!"

As I wondered how much champagne I had drunk,
down the chimney came Casey, truly a hunk!

His eyes: how they twinkled! His dimples: how merry!
His cheeks were chiseled and his manners quite airy.

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
and his distinguished sideburns were white as the snow.

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

He blew me a kiss beofre I could speak
and giving a nod, promised to return next week.

He sprang to his limo, to his reindeer gave a cry,
and away they drove with Bill's young son Sly!

But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight:
"Happy Christmas to all, and to Port Charles a good night!"
