General Hospital Update for Friday, 9-May-2014

Welcome to the Nurses' Ball! And from the look of things, it's got plenty of what we've come to expect: great acts and drama!
Everyone's in their seats after walking the red carpet, the folks at home are dishing in front of their TV sets (get a load of Britt in her bathrobe, drowning her sorrows with Ben, Jerry and Brad!!)and Lucy makes her grand entrance!! Here we go!!
The GH nurses proudly go on stage, dressed in their scrubs to do their opening number---BUT, there's a teeny weeny change of plans!
We hear thunder, the lights darken and it's OBRECHT!!! She's dressed ala Sally Bowles from the movie Cabaret (Liza Minelli SHE AIN'T)and starts the "Wilkomen" number from Cabaret, sharing the stage with several scantily clad dancers.
She finishes her number in front of the stunned crowd (Britt turns to Brad at that moment and says "did MY MOTHER just crash the Nurses' Ball???} and you can hear a pin drop!
Lucy thankfully gets her off the stage and the real entertainment starts!
Kiki and the younger cast members do a rousing number and then, it's the return of Eddie Maine!!
Who is Eddie Maine, you ask? He's Ned's alter ego, leather pants and all! Note to Ned: those leather pants are tighter than they were in the '90's!
Luke followed with a rousing rendition of "It's My Life". (Tony Geary just blows me away!)
Magic Milo, with all of the Port Cbarles hunks, stole the show!! (Get a load of Nathan, aka Detective Sexypants, doing shirtless push-ups on the floor! Hubba HUBBA!!)
There was lots of drama offstage as well. Dante has found out about Sonny's dalliance with Ava and is trying to confront his father about it, while Britt and Brad, Maxie and Levi and Spencer and Nicholas wind up going to the ball after all. Let the fur fly!! (And can't wait to see how Spencer's going to get Emma back. That kid is A HOOT!!)
