General Hospital Update for Friday, 12-Jul-2013

It's summer, and Port Charles just keeps getting hotter! What happened today? Let's see: Danny is clearly getting sicker and Sam is leaving no stone unturned in her desparate search for a bone marrow donor for her little boy;
Maxie has had a visitor from her past, who convinces her to do something she should have done a long time ago; Ellie decides she will give Spinelli his ultimate wish, even though it's not hers and Connie tells Sonny she wants him back--but he's not exactly jumping for joy! Hot enough for you?
Starting with Danny, he's being babysat by Rafe and Molly at the Lakehouse, but a horrified Molly discovers that her nephew is burning up with fever!
She calls Sam and Rafe calls Silas. This unlikely couple rushes to the Lakehouse and takes Danny to GH, where Silas runs more tests and tells a distraut Sam that the chemo isn't working.
Sam and Silas had returned from Ferncliff, where they had collected Heather's DNA (wasn't THAT fun) and Sam tells her mother that there is one more unlikely donor they need: her father!
While this is happening, Maxie is alone in the Crimson offices when she hears noises in Connie's office. She walks into the office and is stunned to see GEORGIE, her murdered sister!!
Georgie has returned from the dead to tell Maxie that she is making a mess of things (duh) and giving up her baby to Lulu and Dante is the worst mistake she could make. Georgie tells her that not only is she hurting Dante and Lulu, but she will also be hurting Spinelli if she goes thru with it. We see Maxie standing outside of Dante and Lulu's apartment, so I hope she's taking Georgie's advice.
Spinelli is eating at Kelly's with Ellie while this is going on. He's stunned when Ellie tells him that she has been selfish and is now willing to have a baby with him! (Already taken care of, honey)...
Connie has gone over to Sonny's place in the meantime to get him back--but she's in for the shock of her life!
She rings the doorbell, sees Olivia standing there and is stunned when Sonny basically tells her thanks, but no thanks, but he's moved on!
A stunned Connie realizes whom he's moved on with (Olivia)!!
Will it be World War III when Maxie tells all about her baby? Will poor Danny get a bone marrow match? Which Brooklyn babe will Sonny wind up with: Olivia or Connie? Stay tuned!
