I must admit, I have been enjoying GH's recent walk down memory lane--and after today's episode, yet another character from the 80's is set to reappear on the canvas!
What else happened today? Hmmmm...Kate is realizing that Connie has been very busy in her office; Carly's out to prove that she's not going to take anyone's advice when it comes to her love life; Ronnie and Dante zero in on the man who has been attacking strippers--and if they are right, it could hit very close to home for a fellow cop and Liz could be hitting the dating scene again. (Watch out, men of Port Charles!)
Ok, you want to know who is coming back to Port Charles, right?
As we know, Sam has been investigating Jason's birth in New York City. She gets lucky and is able to find the file (and this was probably before they had computers, so she REALLY struck gold), but discovers that pages of the file were missing. First red flag.
She asks the clerk to see if Susan was registered for birth classes in hopes that her birth coach can be located.
Sam gets the information, but is stunned to learn the identity of Susan's coach: HEATHER WEBBER!!
Yes, THAT Heather Webber, Port C's resident crazy, permanent fixture at Shadybrook and Steve and Liz's mother!
Sam calls Steve and asks how to get ahold of her, so we shall see how this turns out...
Back in Port Charles, Kate is having her office burglar-proofed, expaining to Sonny that this should end Carly's late-night snooping expeditions once and for all.
As they talk about Sonny's upcoming trial for vehicular homicide, Kate is stunned when she realizes that Connie could have been the one to plant the gun in her office.
She calles Ewen in a panic, demanding that he tell her what Connie told him about the gun in their session. He's not a lot of help, telling her that Connie was evasive when he brought the subject up--so bottom line is that Connie could indeed have planted the gun, which would implicate Sonny in the process.
On to Carly, who shall we say, has been caught red-handed by Jason in her feelings for Johnny.
She comes out and confesses to him, that yes, she has been "sleeping with the enemy" for real and is starting to have real feelings for him.
Jason orders her to stop seeing him immediately, pointing out that it could ultimately hurt Michael and Morgan. (Remember Jax?? Hellooooo?)
She tells her best friend that she will do it, but can't let go of Johnny, kissing him wildly at his doorstep....
Johnny's also been a very busy boy...getting Padilla to funnel him information from the PCPD regarding Sonny's trial!
And speaking of the PCPD, it looks like Dante and Ronnie are zeroing in on the man who has been attacking dancers: Padilla's husband!!
Based on the psychological profile they got from Ewen, they learn that this is a man who has issues with the strong women in his life and wants to lash out. Like Dante says, "it's hard when your woman carries a gun!!"
They're not bringing Padilla into the loop for obvious reasons, because they think that she could possibly be protecting him, but we shall see...
Finally, Liz is ready to hit the dating scene again: with Ewen, of all people!! (Yes, it would call for a shrink, lol..) Let's see how their dinner date turns out....
Will Heather Webber come back to Port Charles? Will the PCPD FINALLY solve a case and get this attacker? Will Ewen and Liz go out on another date? Stay tuned!
