General Hospital Update for Friday, 24-Feb-2012

Tragedy happened at GH, and Patrick will never get over it; Cassandra comes clean to Ethan, but it might be too late for him; Tracy saves Anthony, but it might not mean anything in the long run and Kate shows us why her shrink in Chicago is working overtime! Lots to talk about today!
Starting off at GH, where a devastated Patrick is still getting over the tragic death of Robin in the lab accident.
He is holding the drug protocol that she was working on for Jason before she died, but is determined not to use it, as he tells Sam that Jason does not deserve to live.
Anna walks in on the tail end of their conversation and puts her son-in-law straight. She gently reminds him that Robin would most definately not want that, she stood for helping people and doing Jason's surgery would be honoring her. (Thank you, Anna!!)
She was able to convince Patrick to change his mind and agree to do it and he lets Sam know, telling her that Robin is the only reason he changed his mind.
Meanwhile, over at Windemere, it's all about to hit the proverbial fan!
Helena shows up when Cassandra is with Ethan. She makes Cassandra tell Ethan why she's really here, threatening to tell him all if she won't.
It turns out that Cassandra's real name is Irina--Irina CASSIDINE!! She's Helena's daughter, and she was brought to Windemere to make Ethan fall in love with her. (Check that off the to-do list!) Does that mean she's Nicholas' aunt?
Anyway, Helena's been holding Luke prisoner, and she tells him that now he can watch his son die!
While this is going on, Sonny is heading over to the Quartermaine mansion on a deadly mission.
He's just been released from GH after being shot-AGAIN-and is heading over to the Q's place to pay back Anthony, whom he thinks was responsible.
Tracy talks him out of doing it and Sonny leaves. Anthony decides to get out of town as well and is heading for the airport when he's involved in a car accident. We'll have to wait to see how it turns out...
Finally, Kate. She's so spooked over Sonny's latest shooting that she puts on her bloody wedding dress again and is standing at the piers where Ewen finds her. (Perfect timing, right?)
Realizing that he's just found a patient that will keep him busy for the next year, Ewen tries to talk gently to the fashionista.
Kate is speaking almost like she's in a trance and finally snaps out of it. She's stunned to see that she's actually wearing this dress is public and tells Ewen to stay away from her as she heads towards her car!
Will Kate get the help she so obviously needs? Will Luke and Ethan survive this latest episode with Helena? Will Anthony survive the car accident? Stay tuned!
