General Hospital Update for Friday, 17-Feb-2012

Man, can't ANYONE throw a party in Port Charles without a few bombshells? The benefit for the GH Pulmonary Wing went down at the Metrocourt Bar with you guessed it: a major bombshell; Robin is frantically working in the lab to try and find a cure for Jason's condition--but keeps getting visits from half of Port Charles; Patrick goes into the lab after his wife is on a break, but could fall victim to a chemical spill and Anna and Emma come to GH!
Starting off, we're at the Metrocourt Bar, where everyone's arriving for the benefit for the GH Pulmonary Wing.
Everyone's there and Kate and Carly are getting ready to outdo each other for credit, when a drunk Johnny reaches into his pocket.
Max is immediately on him, but no worries: Johnny is only reaching for his checkbook to outdo Sonny's donation!
This is where it gets ugly. After a few minutes of trash talking from both parties, Sonny comes out with the latest bombshell: that Claudia is actually Johnny's mother, not his sister.
The crowd is stunned and Anthony tells Sonny that all bets are off: he's going to burn!
Johnny leaves, followed by Dante. Sonny confronts his son in the parking garage and they have a huge fight--not knowing that they are being watched by someone in a parked car, who soon points a gun at them.
Over at GH, Robin is busy in the lab researching possible drugs for Jason. After getting visited from the entire city of Port Charles, she finally gets smart and locks the door. (Can you blame her?)
Carly comes in first, demanding to know what she's going to do for Jason; then it's Matt's turn, and he's whining about his breakup with Maxie (he's actually better off) and then, you guessed it, it's MAXIE, who demands that Robin put her research on hold to listen to her!!
After she locked the door, it's Patrick and Monica's turn--both asking for a status report. At this rate, she'll be lucky if she can do anything!
Robin finally decides to take a short break, and goes to the Nurses' Station to see Anna and Emma.
While they were together, Patrick went back into the lab and figured out that Robin had stepped out. However, there had been a chemical spill, and he passed out as a result. This could put the future of Jason's medicine and recovery in jeopardy!
Jason, meanwhile, is resting with Sam in a hospital room. Sam is having cramps, which can't be good for the baby. They have both watched the Franco DVD and it's actually footage of Jason as a newborn! How Franco got it, we'll never know....
Will Sonny and Dante survive this latest shooting? Will Robin find a cure for Jason's condition? Will Patrick be rescued from the Lab? Stay tuned!
