General Hospital Update for Friday, 10-Feb-2012

Sam and Jason have started to share their great news about the new baby with their family and friends--but great sadness might be around the corner for them. Patrick showed Robin the lot for their dream house--with comments from the peanut gallery; Carly and Johnny get REALLY close--I mean REALLLLY close and Maxie and Dr. Hunter end their relationship--with a healthy dose of revenge served up by Maxie!!
Starting off with Sam and Jason, now that it's confirmed that Jason, not Franco, is the father of the baby, the word is starting to get out--and family and friends are thrilled!
Molly finds out that she's going to be an aunt, and immediately draws up a list of baby names for her big sis--all names taken from the heroes and heroines of classic novels! (Typical Molly thing to do).
Monica figures out that Sam's got a bun in the oven when she sees a pregnancy magazine at the Penthouse and is thrilled! She tells Jason that she hopes she can spend lots of time with her new grandchild.
Jason says of course, but adds that there is no way this baby is going to be the next coming of the Quartermaines! (Duh!!)
After Monica leaves the penthouse, Jason finds a present wrapped in paper stamped with monkeys, ala Franco, on their balcony. He brings it in, mutters "You're dead!!" and collapses.
Sam finds him later and is scared out of her wits. We will have to wait till Monday to see what happens here...
Meanwhile, Patrick is showing Robin the lot for their dreamhouse. The Doctors Drake are thrilled and of course, lips are locking when there's a toot on the car horn. It's Emma, who's behind the wheel, grinning from ear to ear!
Knowing that thinking of his daughter as a road warrior is a nightmare that's going to happen later, Patrick takes the hint and helps Robin back into the car for the drive home.
On to Carly and Johnny. Carly walks in on Johnny's latest fight with Anthony at the Port Charles piers. She breaks it up and tells Johnny that she'll buy him a pizza.
They go back to Johnny's place, pizza in hand. One thing leads to another (lots of booze has been drunk) and they start to get busy, I mean REALLY busy....my bet is that we'll find them under the sheets on Monday!
On to Maxie and Matt. She goes over to GH and starts a fight about his attraction to Liz (who from the looks of things has moved on to Euen), when Matt decides that he can't take it anymore.
He tells her that he wasn't going to break up with her, but now thinks that it's not such a bad idea after all.
Hurt, Maxie lashes out at him, telling him that he's now free to go after Liz. She gets a better idea when she sees Monica later.
She tells the Chief of Staff that there's something she has to tell her about one of her staff members. I don't like the way this is looking!
Will Jason survive this latest attack? Will Matt keep his job? Will Carly and Johnny self-destruct? Stay tuned!
